Dodge Dart

If you want to get a compact sedan, you have plenty of choices. A lot of consumers always run to Japanese models and overspend. However, The Dodge Dart is a great car, and you should give it a shot. While true, you should know that it edged out the Ford Focus in a few ways. Here are four reasons why the Dodge Dart beats out the Ford Focus.

First and foremost, if you are buying a compact car, you probably want to save some money when doing so. It’s easy to spend a lot on some smaller cars, especially if you add on a lot of tech and accessories. However, with the Dodge Dart, you can get one at a decent price as the MSRP is around $16,495, which is almost a full $700 cheaper than the Ford Focus. Money adds up, and you can easily see that as your monthly payments will be much lower if you opt for a Dodge Dart over a Ford Focus. Coupled with the fact that the Dart offers more power and room, and you can see why the Dart is the better choice. To see one for yourself, head to Chapman Dodge Las Vegas.

When looking for a compact car that still offers some room, the Dodge Dart has it in spades. Not only does it have a bigger trunk, but it offers more overall room. The Dart has 13.1 cu. Ft.; while the Focus has 12.4 cu. Ft. While not a huge difference to some, this is a big deal to others who want plenty of room for their family and items.

If you want safety, you don’t have to buy a huge car to get it. Yes, the Dodge Dart gets class-leading safety ratings, which is enough to make it a better choice than the Ford Focus. If the unthinkable happens and you are in your Dodge Dart, you are safer than you would be if you were in other compact cars.

Finally, when looking at both cars, you can see that you can get good gas mileage as they have smaller engines, and they are not huge vehicles. But, the 2015 Dodge Dart beats out the Focus as it offers a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, which gives you 184 horsepower. The Focus gives you 160 horses, which is adequate, but not as fun to drive.  Since Dodge has made strides with their sports cars and sedans alike, you can rest easy if you get behind the wheel as you won’t worry about the power the engine has to offer. Simply put, even though the 2015 Dodge Dart does not have a huge engine, the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine will get you where you want to go, quickly.

If you want the best compact car out there, you should get the Dodge Dart as it’s the best value for your money.

2015 Ram

When you want a full-sized pickup truck that can do it all, you don’t have to look any further than the 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab. With the V-6 4X2 version, you can get where you need to go without wasting precious fuel. At the same time, you can get what you want out of it as it has plenty of room and power. With this in mind, you should check out the new 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab, and here are a few reasons it’s a wise move to check one out at Chapman Dodge Las Vegas.

Let’s face it, if you own a truck, you probably want all the latest tech features. In the past, this was difficult as many truck owners did not appreciate having any tech in their vehicles. However, times have changed, and you get a premium brand stereo system, with satellite radio and 12 months of free satellite radio service once you buy the truck. Also, if you are more of an MP3 fan, you can listen via the USB connection or memory card slot. With a total of six speakers, you can hear the music well, and you will appreciate this on a long trip.  Of course, if you are a business person who can’t be away from the phone, you are in luck as it comes with a Bluetooth setup.

As mentioned, with this model, you won’t waste precious fuel as prices are always, in the long-term, going to rise. With the 3.6-liter Pentastar engine, you can get 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. With this much torque and power, you can easily tow what you want, and you still won’t get bad fuel economy. In fact, in the city, you can get 17 mpg, and you can get 25 in highway driving. For a full-sized truck with this much power, you can’t complain.

Now, if you are checking out this truck, you are not getting it to drive fast or run around town all the time. You will probably want to use it to tow and carry a lot of stuff. With the 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab, you can carry 1,460 pounds, and you can tow up to 8,600 pounds, if you have the optional 3.55 rear axle ratio. Simply put, this truck is a workhorse, and if you use it for a few days, you will see why.

Finally, while it’s nice to have a truck with power, it’s also nice to have a truck that offers a smooth ride. You are in luck as the Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie is a comfortable truck that you can enjoy to the fullest on city streets and long road trips.

If you are looking for the best truck to work in and enjoy on the weekends, you should check out the 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab. It’s a great buy.

Join the Pack for Off-road Fun

The annual summer Jeep Jamboree USA is in full swing across the nation, gathering Jeep families for organized excursions in some of the most beautiful and remote locations of the country. Started in 1953, the first Jamboree featured a trip across California’s rugged Rubicon Trail. From those humble beginnings, the event has expanded to run from May to early November as experienced guides help you learn just how much your Jeep can handle.

All Skill Levels Welcome

From the most grizzled veterans of the off-road circuit to young families who want to put their new Cherokee through the paces, Jeep Jamboree tours welcome all who want to participate. Seasoned trail riders will help newbies manage through tough switchbacks and narrow trails to see a part of the country that is only accessible through an iconic 4×4 like the Jeep Wrangler or Cherokee. Events cross the country from Oregon to Maine, with a visit to the mighty Rubicon Trail slated for August 6. Click here for a complete listing of all 2015 Jeep Jamboree events. If you haven’t purchased your Jeep yet, head on over to your Las Vegas Jeep dealer, Chapman Jeep, to check out all the options from the subcompact Renegade to the mighty Unlimited Wrangler.

Preparation is the Key to Fun Trail Ride

You will be driving through some hard country, so it’s important to take advantage of the lessons learned from previous Jamborees and follow all rules for a safe and fun trip. Cell phone reception is non-existent in some areas, so all vehicles must be equipped with a CB radio. All vehicles must also have four-wheel drive, including a low range transfer case. Roll bars on open top vehicles, front and rear tow hooks and a full size spare are also mandatory. Vehicles must also be street legal with current license plates and registration.

You’ll be going through some major elevation changes in some of the tours, so bring a variety of clothing that’s good for warm and cold weather. Insect repellent, flashlight, sunscreen, chair and a cooler for food and beverages are also required. Note you are not allowed to bring alcohol on any of the Jeep Jamboree tours. A 20-foot tow strap is also recommended to help yourself and others out of a tight situation. There’s a trail out there calling your name and just begging you to take your Jeep off the pavement this summer. Explore the outdoors as part of a Jeep Jamboree and you’ll create a lifetime of memories for you and your family.

Charger

If you want a full sized, real American family sedan, you don’t have many options as you did in the past. Since the Ford Crown Victoria is no longer around, there is only one full sized American family sedan with rear-wheel drive and AWD options, and this is the 2015 Dodge Charger SXT. This is a true icon of the American car industry, and here are a few reasons why it’s for everyone.

In testing, the 2015 Dodge Charger SXT AWD with a V6 3.5-liter engine should get around 22 miles per gallon for a week of normal driving. This is truly impressive considering it has a 296 horsepower engine and all-wheel drive. Furthermore, this is not tin can as the Charger is big enough to fit you and your family, along with all of your stuff. Depending on your driving, you can get better mileage as a lot of 2015 Dodge Charger SXT drivers are probably going to take advantage of the power, and they will see their mpg suffer. If you want to see one in person, you should head down to your local Chapman Dodge Las Vegas and see one for yourself.

As mentioned, most people get a Charger with RWD.  This is great for all those people who love to rule the road and burn rubber. However, if you want more control and a different feel, you should opt for the all-wheel drive version. When getting AWD, you may have a little more control when you go off-roading, though this car is not a full on off-road car. Either way, AWD is a great option to add to this muscle car.

Whether you are a hardcore driver or someone who loves to go on weekend drives with your family, you will appreciate the AWD. It is smoother, and you can get through corners with fewer problems as you will keep the vehicle in check. When compared with the RWD, you will also enjoy more control when you are in the snow and rain, which may or may not be important to you.

Plenty of hardcore enthusiasts who want more power may not be excited with the amount of power this car has, but it’s not a car for people who want to win at the race track. While true, it still has plenty of power, and that is why this car is for everyone. Whether you are looking for a commuter car or one to haul your kids around, the 2015 Dodge Charger SXT AWD should be high on your list of cars to test drive.

Once inside the car, you will love the setup. It has a 7- inch LED customizable screen, which is in the center cluster between the tachometer and speedometer.  It also comes with controls on the steering wheel so you can use Bluetooth and voice activation navigation. You will also enjoy heated seats and a luxurious feel, something you may not get in other lower-end cars.

With a base price of around $33,000, you have no excuse to not check out the Dodge Charger SXT AWD. Simply put, this car is for everyone, and you will see why the minute you get behind the wheel.

Dodge Journey

A lot of people, young men, older women, and everyone in between, don’t exactly get excited when they see a minivan. While they are practical, easy to drive and offer plenty of room for those long trips or short drives around town, they aren’t exactly sexy. If you want the good things that a minivan offers but you want something a little cooler, you should consider the 2015 Dodge Journey.

First and foremost, if you get a minivan, you probably realize that it doesn’t have a lot of power. Since they are made with other things in mind, most vans come with a small engine and a boring transmission. On the other hand, if you get a 2015 Dodge Journey, you can get some real power. Now, since the Journey is not exactly small, you should get the V-6 engine, which delivers 283 horsepower. This is, in fact, best-in-class, and this is a major reason you should check out the 2015 Dodge Journey at Chapman Dodge Las Vegas. Simply put, the award-winning V-6 engine with 3.6 liters will blow you away, and it will give you the power you need.

When you want to take advantage of your SUV, you must have AWD. Otherwise, if you have an SUV that only has rear or front-wheel drive, you are not going to get much out of it when you want to go in the dirt or mud. You are in luck with the Journey Crossroad as it has an available AWD, which features an on-demand system, which provides you with added traction when you need it. At the same time, when you don’t need it, it’s turned off, and you will see your mpg increase.  Yes, if you plan to do any off-roading with your vehicle, you are better off getting a Dodge Journey as it offers you more tools to go off-road safely and without worry.

When you get behind of the wheel and feel the power, you are obviously going to love the 2015 Dodge Journey, and you must check one out at  if you have the time.  Furthermore, when you want to be comfortable in your SUV, you are not going to struggle with the Journey as it has standard leather seating with sport mesh inserts. It also comes with an 8.4 inch Uconnect touchscreen, which helps you keep everything in order while on the road. The great reason this is better than a minivan is you also get the room of a minivan, all without giving up power or add-ons. With the Journey, you can carry up to seven passengers, which is enough for almost every family.  Not only that, depending on your wants and needs, you can take out the seats and carry more items in your SUV.

If you are looking to get a minivan but you want something a little cooler, you should consider the 2015 Dodge Journey. Not only does it offer more power and AWD, but it’s cooler on the inside, and it’s more fun to drive.
