The rumors are true – Dodge will release the brand new Dodge Dartand will be available at Dodge dealers in Nevada soon. This new addition to the compact family boasts beauty inside and out and is perfect for those looking for a reasonable price.

Under the hood the Dodge Dart has three engine options including a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder 160-horsepower, a 1.4-liter turbocharged intercooled 4-cylinder 160-horsepower, and a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder, 184-horsepower which utilizes the MultiAir 2 system that offers exhaust-gas recirculation that is more efficient.  All three engine options achieve an unadjusted gas-mileage rating of at least 40 mpg. There are three transmission options as well.  The standard option is a 6-speed manual design by Fiat Powertrain. There is also a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic version available for the 1.4-liter turbo. And finally, there is also a regular style 6-speed automatic option for all three engines.

Outside the Dodge Dart has pursued nothing but aerodynamic excellence, including a grille system that opens and closes automatically based off of the vehicles speed and engine-coolant temperature. There are composite panels that smooth out airflow and reduce road noise. The top of the Dart features a laser-brazed roof seam which eliminates roof-ditch moldings and results in a much cleaner look and reduces interior resonance. The Dart is available in twelve exterior colors, some of which include “Header Orange” and “Laguna Blue”. All of this comes at the sensible starting price of $15,995; it fits into almost any buyer’s budget.

“At Chapman Nevada Dodge we take pride in providing vehicles that offer a lot of great features both inside and out and come at a reasonable price. The new Dodge Dart fits perfectly into that category,” says General Manager Don Hamrick.

A look at the interior of the Dodge Dart would leave anyone impressed. Not only do you have 14 interior and trim options but it also comes complete with ambient interior lighting. It also includes an 8.4-inch UConnect Touch Media Center with voice recognition, an Alpine audio system, a full-color seven-inch TFT instrument cluster, keyless entry and start, and a heated steering wheel.  There are four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and ten airbags that come standard, as do the electronic stability control and electronic roll mitigation.

This car is definitely worth checking out! So come to Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep, the best selling Dodge dealer in Las Vegas.

Looking at the new 2013 Ram 1500 you may not see many differences from the 2012 model but a deeper look reveals the most significant changes to the truck since 2009. There are eleven models and packages available with choices of rear or four-wheel-drive; regular, Quad, or four-door Crew Cabs; and short, medium, and long bed lengths. There are also twelve exterior color choices including five new colors. The real major changes though can be seen in regards to the powertrain and technology upgrades.

The new Pentastar V-6 engine makes 90 more horsepower boosting it to 305 hp and 34 additional lb-ft of torque reaching a new total of 269 lb-ft. The V-6 also comes with a new ZF-designed eight-speed automatic transmission called the “Torque Flite 8”. The higher end also available is the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 that has a total of 395 horsepower. The other engine option is a 4.7-liter SOHC V-8 that has 310-horsepower. Both V-8 options will have a standard six-speed automatic option as well as an eight-speed automatic option.  The eight-speed models actually have no column or console shifters but instead have a knob mounted next to the steering wheel to shift. Ram 1500 Vegas dealers will have all engine options available.

Also new to the 2013 Ram is the four-corner suspension that has five ride-height settings: Normal, Aero, Off-Road 1, Off-Road 2, and Park.  All five settings can be manually selected on a button located on the dash, or from outside the vehicle using the keyfob. Normal is the baseline setting and the truck switches into Aero automatically when accelerating to a higher speed and lowers truck 1.1 inches. Off-Road 1 raises the truck 1.2 inches, and Off-Road 2 raises the truck 2.0-inches over the Normal position. Park mode lowers the truck 2.0-inches below Normal, making it easier for the driver and occupants to get in and out of the vehicle and also easier to grab things from the bed of the truck. The new suspension system also works to maintain a steady ride by leveling any load in the bed of the truck.

As for the interior, the upgrades are just as substantial, promising a comfortable ride for both the driver and passengers of the vehicle.  Chrysler upgraded all of its upholstery to “premium materials” which feature soft-touch materials and give the truck an overall improved look.  There is also an 8.4-inch screen complete with Uconnect system. Uconnect is an infotainment system that features HD radio and satellite radio, Bluetooth phone, voice-controlled navigation with real-time fuel price technology, and it automatically updates itself via satellite. The Uconnect system can be controlled by wheel-mounted audio control. Additional features include a USB, SD card, and auxiliary connections. The USB connection also allows for an iPod to be connected and controlled through the touch screen or by the steering wheel controls.  The Uconnect system also supports MP3 and WMA files via a media storage device.

All of these upgrades allow the 2013 Ram 1500 to be powerful enough to get tough jobs done while still featuring top of the line technology. Ram Las Vegas drivers will easily be able to tell a difference from the 2012 model. Head down to your Vegas Ram Dealer to test drive the new Ram today!

In 2010 Dodge put a hold on production of Vipers, but Dodge Viper Las Vegas fans will be happy to know, they’re back and better than ever. Dodge announced earlier this year that they are releasing two new models:  the SRT Viper and SRT Viper GTS. Both models have features that clearly resemble the original ferocious Viper. But with new designers and engineers working together, the Viper has been reborn.

The exterior body still remains modeled after snakes and the human body, with smooth curves, low stout, and upkicked tail but has been redesigned to be more aerodynamic. The use of premium materials, such as high-tech carbon fiber and aluminum, and new practical details, bring the Viper into the higher quality category of “supercar”.  Under the hood the 2013 Viper is powered by the shockingly powerful, all-aluminum pushrod V-10 engine that creates 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. The new intake manifold runs off a high-performance computer-based simulation with Formula 1 aerodynamics and even features nuclear submarine performance to ensure a silent ride.

A Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual is still standard and allows the car to be every bit as fast as previous models. New to the SRT Viper is a two-mode suspension system that features Bilstein DampTronic Select shocks, which are known to be extremely efficient on both the road and the track. Electronic stability control and launch-control system, with steering-wheel buttons, are both standard, and aid in allowing the car to have the fastest possible launch from a dead stop. The revised camshaft profile also works with Viper’s variable-valve timing for lower emissions and fuel consumption, while still providing power. The new model also features upgraded Brembo four-piston unit brakes, with fixed-aluminum calipers and vented rotors. A revised catalyst wash-coat process also enables a 20-percent overall increase in power output.

The interior has visibly significant changes, in comparison to previous models. Both 2013 models will feature high-performance racing seats, special upholsteries, trims, and accents. Chrysler has also guaranteed that anyone up to 6’-7” will be able to fit comfortably in the car, with the addition of an extended floor pan and bulkhead. Sitting in the driver seat there is also added convenience features such as the customizable gauge cluster, infotainment unit with Uconnect media center, integrated SiriusXM Travel Link, and 18-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound system. With all of these added features the new Viper still weighs 100 pounds less than the older model.

The 2013 SRT Viper and SRT Viper GTS are guaranteed to keep both track and street drivers happy with performance, speed, convenience, and a new quality standard. Chapman Las Vegas Dodge  dealerships will have the car available for test drive in fall 2012.
